How to Take Control of Influencer Marketing Campaigns

Marketers using the FYI platform are most often surprised by how it consolidates the multiple tools and resources they have needed in the past in order to create great marketing campaigns.

When nearly every brand has an online presence, how does one brand stand out over the next? The most successful brands are leaning in to influencer marketing. Influencer marketing is the art of connecting brands with the powerful voices of digital content creators. This connection leads to authentic conversations around a product, driving awareness and engagement through influencer marketing campaigns.

In March 2020, Find Your Influence introduced the latest version of it’s influencer marketing platform. The platform additions expanded influencer search and introduced influencer keyword search, just a few of the hurdles brands identified.

For brands who may be new to influencer marketing, searching for influencers and reviewing their various types of content can feel overwhelming. Add in the influencer negotiation and contracting, content review and more, and the process can seem massive.

“We’ve heard from brands managing campaigns in-house that they have generally underestimated the time needed for an influencer campaign,” explained Jordan Windle, Director of Account Management and Platform Services at Find Your Influence. “Additionally, once a campaign was complete, they weren’t familiar with how to analyze its performance to know if it worked.”

For those marketers who have yet to execute an influencer campaign, Find Your Influence offers the following timeline as a guide:

  • 1 week for planning + identifying influencers
  • 1-2 weeks for negotiating and contracting
  • 1-2 weeks for shipments
  • 1-2 weeks for content creation and content review
  • 2-4 weeks content live window
  • 1-2 weeks final reporting

If that still feels inundating, leverage the Find Your Influence (FYI) platform-based solution to remove the complexities. Some of the advantages brands find when using the FYI platform include:

  • Advanced influencer search with access to tens of thousands of vetted influencers
  • Create and manage campaigns at scale
  • Influencer pricing models
  • Simplified and secure contracting
  • Influencer survey capabilities
  • Find all campaign data in a single location making it easy for team members to access past campaign data, notes, and more
  • FYI pays influencers directly and handles annual IRS tax documentation

Marketers using the FYI platform are most often surprised by how it consolidates the multiple tools and resources they have needed in the past. “Many brands continue to share their  appreciation of how we support them as they use the platform. They are also grateful that our team really listens and incorporates their feedback,” said Windle.

The FYI platform can work with brands directly but was also built to support agencies representing multiple brands. “We find that many brands will outsource their influencer marketing programs to agencies that may already be leading their marketing, social or public relations efforts,” said Windle.

FYI offers an agency-specific option with a dashboard that allows agencies to sort by the various brand marketing campaigns being run. Agencies using FYI have an advantage when working with multiple brands as they can apply learnings across clients to better optimize their campaigns.

The most recent FYI platform release wasn’t developed in a silo. The in-house technology team actively listens to client feedback and evolves with the industry. Find Your Influence is driven to remaining ahead of the curve in advancing technologies and innovative applications.
