The Paid Media Manager is one of the most critical roles within our organization. This individual will support the Client Success team and act as a liaison between the Sales and Client Success teams to execute high-volume client accounts and level-up to overall campaign guarantees. This role is responsible for developing paid social media campaigns, proactive optimization, reporting and providing campaign recaps and marketing materials for FYI. This dynamic team member will manage the paid media process from beginning to end, leveraging analytical and creative thinking, as well as interdepartmental collaboration to develop effective plans and materials that help our clients achieve their goals and align with FYI’s brand standards.

Additionally, the Paid Media Manager will also work closely with the Influencer Management team to recruit, negotiate, contract and manage influencer’s work on campaigns. The individual in this role will take the time to understand the client’s needs and then hand-pick the very best influencers, big and small, to participate in campaigns. The Paid Media Manager will also work closely with the Account Management team to make sure every step of a campaign is executed smoothly, and that each influencer has all they need to succeed.

  • Passionate about Paid Social. Paid Social in particular is the bread and butter of the Paid Media Manager role. Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc., is a must.

  • Comfortable being client-facing. As the sole Paid Media person in the company, you will often be tasked with educating clients directly on topics like pixel issues, targeting recommendations, optimization implementations, etc.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Client Success, Sales and Proposal teams
  • Communicating regularly with internal teams to stay current on campaign trends, client requests, paid media needs and influencer communication
  • Act as a project manager, taking ownership of the paid campaign process from start to finish
  • Responsible for managing and implementing successful paid social campaigns, demonstrating revenue goals, efficiency and volume
  • Pull data for campaign recaps, marketing materials and social media execution examples
  • Review campaign performance and draw qualitative and quantitative conclusions to help optimize future programs with clients and create opportunities to up-sell
  • Understand and manage creative campaigns to improve ad performance
  • Develop media ad best practices
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams as needed to estimate budgets and volumes for prospective client proposals
  • Consult on landing page optimization and testing recommendations for campaigns
  • Responsible for bid management, keyword research and specific country targeting
  • A/B testing setup and tracking
  • Identify opportunities to grow leads and improve profitability of campaigns
  • Understand display advertising on new networks, outside of Google
  • Remain current with industry trends while continually leveraging new tools and industry best practices to boost efficiency of campaigns
  • Building and investing in long-term relationships with influencers and influencer management agencies
  • Hand-selecting the very best influencers for campaigns after taking time to clearly understand the client’s vision. You will work across social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and blogs.
  • Negotiating with and contracting influencers for campaigns
  • Managing and reviewing influencer work throughout campaigns

What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role (Requirements)

  • Facebook Blueprint Certified
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft suite (PPT is a MUST)
  • Proven track record of paid social campaign management and or similar PPC role or PPC campaign management, and can demonstrate improving performance and ROAS
  • Solid background with both Facebook and TikTok Ad Managers
  • Paid Social expert and you monitor changes in the ever-evolving space
  • Passion for social media ads – from creation, to implementing, reporting & insights
  • Solid understanding of social media and the advertising landscape as a whole
  • Sound SEO knowledge
  • Google Analytics and advanced AdWords Editor knowledge
  • Experience with Google Display Network, including re-marketing and contextual advertising
  • Experience with Adobe suite
  • Deep experience using keyword research tools
  • Experience setting up and using Google Tag Manager
  • Experience in HTML, JavaScript, or PHP is a plus
  • Must stay current and maintain industry knowledge, trends etc. in digital space
  • Excellent teamwork skills

Professional Qualifications

  • Google AdWords Certified (preferred)
  • Google Analytics Certified (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a high volume of PPC & Social Media campaigns (preferred)
  • Proven track record of using biddable media to acquire, engage and nurture users throughout the funnel
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and more), and content distribution and placement networks
